Finally an update! :)

Kenna and I!

The little trio!

My mighty little man!

Little heartbreaker Ian!

Wow. I cannot believe how long I let this go, nearly a year! Unfortunately I had a brain lapse and forgot my password for a very long time (and could apparently not be bothered to try and figure it out)! Well, hopefully I can keep this blog quite a bit more up to date from now on. Now to summarize basically a year into a short post. Hmmm.... Kenna turned 4 last Oct. 29th while Ian turned 1 last Oct. 7th and Logan just celebrated his 3rd birthday March 18th. I will find out how big Ian has gotten at his 18 month well baby appt this month (have not scheduled it yet, I have to get on that!), Logan just had his appt and is 35.6 inches tall (5%) and 27 lbs 9.6 oz (10%), he is still my tiny little man and I absolutely adore him. He did not need any shots (which made him VERY happy)! Other than his teeth he is healthy. We did take him to the dentist last year and he has enamel hypoplasia, 10 of his teeth need caps. Since we do not have dental insurance we are trying to take very good care of his teeth to avoid cavities, if we can hold off on the caps until he is 4-5 he will be able to have them done in office instead of the hospital OR saving us thousands of dollars. We had his front teeth filled so they look like actual teeth now and he is very happy about that. His next dental appt will be April 21st and I will find out then if we have been able to keep them good the past 6 months. Kenna also has enamel hypoplasia (it is genetic) but hers is very mild and she will only need 2 caps. Ian so far I have no idea but his teeth look perfect as of right now (Logan's were really bad already at this age and I had no idea about Kenna until her first dental check). Kenna is now about 38" tall and about 32ish lbs. She is riding in a booster seat now and very excited about that as well as school, she loves it and is writing her name now and is trying to learn to read. She still has her beautiful red hair (and an attitude to accompany it) and is very much enjoying being 4. Ian is growing up so very fast, it makes me sad and happy all at the same time. He is talking a good amount now, forming 2-3 word sentences and is all boy. He loves him some cars, trains, balls, dirt and wrestling his big brother.
As for Billy and I, well we are pretty good. We bought a house in our neighborhood and finally have a yard, it needs a lot of work but that will happen soon enough. Billy is now a licensed architect and I am so proud of him for accomplishing that goal! Although it really does us no good until the economy gets better, he does still have a job (PT though right now) which is good and hopefully he can hold onto it until things pick up. I completed my CNA training last year and started working with a local hospital's senior center. I am hoping to move to the main hospital in the near future to get some more medical training as opposed to care giving. I love it though, and I am very excited to finish my BSN once Ian starts all day schooling (probably 3-4 years from now).

So in a nutshell that is what has happened the past year, tons of fun, stress, memories, etc. and I wouldn't change it for the world. I have been so very busy with 3 kids in 3 years but now that they are all getting bigger and growing and turning into kids instead of babies I am able to breathe a little more! I can't wait to see what life has in store for us and am so very grateful to have my family of 5 (although Kenna is so hoping for a sister! Ha! I told her if she does all the feedings/diaper changes/midnight get ups, then we can talk!)
